| The easiest way to install the FileFunctions component is to download the easy setup (1.5MB) version. This version includes a user friendly
installation program, which automatically installs necessary dll's and registers
the component for you. People who know what they are doing and already have the MSVBVM50.DLL file on
their machine can download the smaller version (111KB) and register
the component by hand by placing the filefunctions.dll file in their windows system
directory and running the command: regsvr32 filefunctions.dll
If you have already installed a previous (Beta) version of the component you have to
unregister it first by running the command:
regsvr32 /u filefuncs.dll
or regsvr32 /u filefunctions.dll
depending on which version you have on your system. Don't forget to stop the
webserver using the Service Manager. Both versions include a registration program, which allows you to register via
Fax, e-mail or postal service. |
