Q: How do I create a virtual directory in IIS 4.0? A: From MMC: - Select the web site that you want to create the virtual directory in.
- Right Click and choose Create New | Virtual Directory.
- The New Virtual Directory Wizard appears and you are asked to enter an alias to the virtual directory.
- Enter a alias and press Next.
- The next page of the Wizard ask the physical directory location of the virtual directory, enter the physical directory information and press Next.
- The third page queries you about the access permission. Select the proper entries and press Finish.
