Q: My SiteServer search successfully catalogs Office 97 documents, but gives
errors for Office 95 documents.
Are there different filters for Office 95, or should the ones that work for
Office 97 also work for 95 and I am just missing something?
A: It's might be a bug in the Office IFilter. In particular, we know that it
crashes sometimes on powerpoint files. To confirm, check your winnt or
winnt\system32 directory and see if there are a lot of temp files there. An
updated Office IFilter will be released in SS-SP2.
